Our R&D Milestones
Comet’s 1st 2*2mm shredder launched in 1996.
1st Super-quiet 55dB shredder was invented in 2002.
The 2nd generation 1+1(paper entry + CD/DVD entry) shredder was invented in 2003.
Comet’s 3rd generation shredder was launched in 2007.
Comet became the contract supplier of China State Security Bureau in 2009.
Comet launched revolutionary 4th generation shredder with liquid cooling system.
In 2015, with the co-development of South China University of Technology, Comet launched its 5th generation shredder with air purifying function E-series.
In 2024, Comet held a groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony for its new industrial park, and the first shredder was successfully rolled off the production line.

Production Of Core Parts
Another Comet’s core advantage is that Comet produces the main components of shredder by our own, including motor, blade, gear, shaft, housing, etc. This would shorten the lead time of production, and enhance the R&D ability and speed up the whole development process.
Besides innovation, Comet also concentrates on quality control of our products. Comet has gained ISO9001:2008 quality management system certificate and ISO14001:2004 environment management system certificate. And since Comet makes all the spare parts by us, Comet extends our strict quality control to all parts production and final assembling, from incoming material inspection to finished machines inspection.
